Hello!

Since the early 2000's Conor worked in film and startups, shooting the first High Definition feature documentary in an active war zone, developing commercial projects for the likes of Coca-Cola and BMW Designworks, helping a startup grow to 40 people (before going to zero in the financial crisis), and looking for things in the ground. After 2008, Conor moved to Hong Kong to work for one of the world's leading independent macro investment research firms, focusing on long term implications of technology and alternative energy. Conor has since published over 30 papers, presented at conferences around the world, and helped start a number of companies from ad based donations to drinkable super food meals. Co-founding ChainofThings.com in 2016, as one of the first companies focused on blockchain’s potential to support the Internet of Things, he is currently focused on leveraging distributed technologies for positive environmental, humanitarian, and industrial applications. Most recently, Conor has helped to build Blockpass.org, a joint venture under Chain of Things that is focused on self-sovereign zero knowledge proof identity for the internet of everything. With Blockpass off and running with over 30 people on the international team, Conor is now focused on the development of Liquidstar.io - rentable off-grid smart batteries that run on Blockpass identity rails, targeting the 1.1 billion people who do not have access to electricity - SDG7. He also helped to found and develop LabofLabs.io, a coordinated initiative across the world’s top academic research labs to build an interoperable Knowledge ecosystem between academia and industry to aggressively SOLVE the UN Global Goals by 2030.
